Happy holidays!

“yogash chitta-vritti-nirodhah¨

(Yoga is the cessation of mental fluctuations)

~Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra 1.2

That special time of the year has come, we would like to thank everyone who has been with us so far and, to be grateful for the life and health that the practice of yoga gives us.

Once again it is necessary to remember that Yoga means "union with the Self", but not in the limited sense of the mortal Self, the body / mind / ego / personality, but the higher Self, the divine, eternal and Supreme Being. Dwelling in the eternal reality of the atman, the Sanskrit term for the manifestation of the Supreme Being that dwells within each being, is Yoga. Yoga is synonymous with samadhi (enlightenment) and moksha (liberation).

Through the practice of yoga we stop identifying with thoughts and begin to remember our innate reality. This Christmas we invite you to reconnect with that inner being that lives in all of us.

At Smash we wish you a Merry Christmas with lots of yoga!

Remember that our schedule remains the same until December 24 and then we will have two classes a day until the first week of January.
